Overview of the Tour

Glorious trees spread beautifully along with a large number of blossoming flowers gracing the southwest coast of the River Banas, which passes through the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan; Ranthambore National Park is one of the best reserves to see the Bengal Tigers. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest places to discover the animal lover in self. Ranthambore National Park previously served as one of the hunting grounds for the Maharajas of Jaipur, which is located at a distance of 130 kilometers from the city. Since its establishment, the terrain has been successful in getting much attention of many nature lovers, and wildlife photographers. The National Reserve is a home to many animals and it primarily consists of tigers, black bucks, sloth bears, nilgai, leopards, desert cats, Indian wild boar, and Common mongoose. The difficult to find Indian Wolf has also been spotted in the territory of the reserve. The common Indian toad and the common frog are the only two amphibian species found in the park. Delhi – Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambore

This morning, after having a scrumptious breakfast, get transferred to the station from where you board the train for Sawai Madhopur. On your arrival in Sawai Madhopur, you will be met by our representative who will help you get transferred to the wildlife resort. Complete the check-in formalities and have a filling lunch. Your enjoyment continues, as you will be taken for the safari into the national park. Dinner is served right amidst the wilderness, which is followed by an overnight stay at the resort.

Ranthambore National Park

On the third day of your tour, you will be taken for a drive to the national park where you can enjoy the natural surrounding along with loads of fun amidst fascinating things. The day gives you the joy of being surrounded with the Arvalis and the Vindhyas range. The national park has the most amazing picturesque environs, stuffed with historical richness and it stands out conspicuously in the vast, arid and denuded tract of eastern Rajasthan. Ranthambore is superbly rich as it homes numerous kinds of other cats. With Leopard (Felis bengalensis), Caracal (Felis caracal), Leopard (Panthera pardus), Fishing Cat (Felis viverrina) and the Jungle Cat (Felis chaus), the fascination enhances without a tad of doubt. Other attractions includes the Striped Hyena, Small Indian Civet, Wild dog (or Dhole), Jackal Wolf, Sloth Bear, Indian Fox, Palm Civet, Common Indian Mongoose, Small Indian Mongoose, Ratel (or Honey Badger), Marsh Crocodile and the Indian Python. The national place is so rich that there is no dearth of major attractions including the Sambhar Deer and Spotted Deer (or Chital). After a day full of animal seeing, return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Best Time to Visit You Ask?

  • The Ranthambore National Park is open for the safari tour for the visitors from the 1st October to the 30th June every year as per the entry timing of the particular season.
  • Though one can enjoy the safari and savor the view of the majestic tiger anytime between the allowed months, but from November to April is considered as the best time to visit Ranthambore tiger reserve as the weather is pleasant around this time and the nature is in its full bloom around this time enhancing the beauty of the forest.
  • The winter season, from October to march, is the most preferred season to visit Ranthambore Park by the visitors as the cool weather has its own charm and the forest is bustling with greenery after the rainy season making the surroundings very pleasing and enchantingly beautiful.
  • Season from April to June, is the least preferred season to visit this park due to the unbearable hot weather.
